e-Markets Agreements
Nordea Markets will offer increased online services for your convenience accessible through our e-Markets portal. In order to protect your sensitive information, these services will be offered in a logged in environment using a user ID and password.
The e-Markets Agreement contains the terms and conditions for use of e-Markets and needs to be entered into with Nordea. The Power of Attorney documents provide you with the opportunity to assign the right employees to the right online services.

How to fill in the e-Markets Agreement?
1. Fill in and sign the e-Markets Customer Contract
The email field is mandatory for Private Individuals*
Both your signature and name are required on the document
* As a Private Individual you do not need to fill in any Power of Attorney. You will be granted full access to e-Markets upon receipt of the duly filled in and signed e-Markets Customer Contract.
2. Tell us who should access the e-Markets platform using the Power of Attorneys
2.1 Definition:
The role of the Administrator is to assign Users to e-Markers . An Administrator may also be a User
A User is assigned by an Administrator and has a given set of permissions allowing access to one or more online services
2.2 Assign Administrators and Users:
A. Power of Attorney from the Customer to the Administrator
Without any Power of Attorney we are unable to grant you access to the e-Markets portal. You must assign at least one Administrator. If the Administrator is also a User, the same document can be used to grant the permissions. The Power of Attorney(s) must be signed by the Customer.
B. Power of Attorney from the Administrator to the User
Administrators may assign Users using one or more Power of Attorney from the Administrator to the User. The Power of Attorney(s) must be signed by the Administrator.
I am already a user, will I keep my existing User ID and Password?
Yes, existing users will keep their current user ID and password.
How will I be notified when accesses is granted?
Accesses will be granted based on the signed and returned Power of Attorneys. All new users will receive a Welcome email from us, advising them that the new online services have been made available.
What happens to my existing e-Markets Trading contract?
This new e-Markets agreement replaces any previously signed e-Markets trading contract.
What is a Legal Entity Identifier code?
The Legal Entity Identifier (LEI) is a reference number to uniquely identify parties in financial transactions worldwide, throughout all markets and legal systems. LEI codes are required for all legal entities falling into one of the categories below:
- All entities trading derivatives (except for private individuals)
- All entities issuing equity, debt and all entities listed on an exchange
- All entities trading equity or debt (except for private individuals)
- All entities supervised by a financial regulator and their affiliates, subsidiaries and holding companies
Will all the new solutions be available immediately upon signing of the new agreement?
No. The various online services are being developed and implemented over time. Your chosen Administrator/s will be advised via email as new services become available.
